For over 20 years, I have been conducting legal research and analysis; first for the Court of Appeal and Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta and on a continuing basis for law firms in BC, Alberta and Ontario.
I bring a wealth of experience to every new file, both in my refined research skills and the general knowledge I have built up through exposure to different areas of law and divergent practice styles.

Legal Writing
I assist clients with all kinds of legal writing: I draft memoranda, settlement letters, mediation briefs, pleadings and argument.
Rather than waste time and money preparing formal memoranda, I have a practice of reporting the results of research in argument format, so that my client can paste it into court filings with no effort.
My clients recognize the benefit of involving me early in every file, to get the law right from the beginning so that no mistakes are made along the way.
