Although this practice directive is titled "Citation of Authorities" it provides directions on more than just citation. It also provides stylistic guidance. This guidance demonstrates the Court's strong preference for less formal and more straightforward legal writing.
The Court has prepared an extensive guide for self-represented litigants. The guide includes links to example factums, which are useful to show proper formatting, but are not the finest examples of appellate advocacy.
